And, there are also beautiful camp sites and camping cabins to make your stay last longer.

Adams Nature Preserve
A hidden gem along the banks of the Missouri River, the Adams Nature Preserve is a beautiful park where you can become one with nature and history. With 10 miles of limestone trails, the Adams Homestead and Nature Preserve offers you a chance to view over 100 species of birds, a variety of native plants, numerous wildlife, hiking, cross-country skiing and biking. Also, you can walk through restored historical buildings and the Visitor Center.

Grandview Park / Rose Garden
Located in Sioux City, the Grandview Park hosts two beautiful features, the Bandshell and the Rose Garden. The Band Shell is home to the hugely attended Saturday in the Park free music festival, the Municipal Band concerts and summer Movies in the Park. Furthermore, the Rose Garden has been renovated back to it’s glory days, complete with a water fountain, trellis and beautiful roses.
At this privately-owned park, you will find your solace, offering you a peaceful retreat from the daily stresses in your life. In addition, this quiet park is home to an endless variety of plants, beautiful birds, water fountain and numerous sitting areas.

A quick drive to South Sioux City will bring you to this hidden gem. Crystal Cove Park offers 60 acres of biking, hiking, 18-hole disc-golf course, beautiful fishing lake and more. Also, you’ll see over 200 species of birds and wildlife and 3 times a year the lake if freshly stocked for fishing year round.

Yoga in the Park
During the summer months, you have an opportunity to find your inner peace with Yoga in the Park. Free yoga classes are offered free every Saturday morning. Classes run one-hour long and are structured for first-timers to the regular yoga practitioner. Lastly, Yoga in the Park is held in the greenspace at Sgt. Floyd River Museum on the river front.
